RAIN SOUL is the flagship product of Rain International. It is made from cold-pressed seeds. This product is seed-based because seeds are 20 to 30 times more potent than any part of a plant gram for gram. The posts is a breakdown of Rain Soul ingredients and their health benefits. This is also a post about the health benefits Rain Soul supplement or Rain Soul drink as some folks like to call it.
BLACK CUMIN SEED
Here Are the Benefits of Black Cumin Seed, the Major Ingredient in Rain Soul, Rain Core, and Every Other Product of Rain International.
BLACK RASPBERRY
The health benefits of Black raspberry include;
PROMOTES EYESIGHT
It is a known fact that wild blueberries are good for your eyes due to their high concentration of anthocyanins. But a study published in the May 2006 issue of the Journal of Agricultural and Food Chemistry reported that black raspberries contain even more anthocyanins than either wild or cultivated blueberries
Research suggests that anthocyanins may promote healthy eyesight in several ways, including by improving night vision, boosting circulation within the capillaries of the retina, reducing the risk of retinopathy in diabetic patients, and providing protection against macular degeneration.
Raspberries contain the antioxidant zeaxanthin, which filters out harmful blue light rays.
MAY IMPROVE ULCERATIVE COLITIS(Rain Soul and Ulcer)
But the anti-inflammatory benefits of raspberries are not limited to their potential anti-arthritis effects. A study published in the March 2011 issue of the journal Carcinogenesis found that in an experimental mouse model of ulcerative colitis, mice that were treated with freeze-dried black raspberries for seven days experienced a significant drop in the expression of several pro-inflammatory cytokines. Ulcerative colitis is characterized by abnormally high levels of cytokines, which in turn can damage the lining of the colon and increase the risk for colon cancer.
HELPS IMPROVE BARETT’S OESOPHAGUS
Barrett's esophagus is a condition in which the flat pink lining of the swallowing tube that connects the mouth to the stomach (esophagus) becomes damaged by acid reflux, which causes the lining to thicken and become red. (Definition Source: Mayo Clinic)
The cells that make up the oesophagus begin to look like the cells that make up your intestines. This often happens when cells are damaged by exposure to acid from the stomach.
This condition often develops after years of experiencing gastroesophageal reflux (GERD). In some cases, Barrett’s esophagus can develop into esophageal cancer.
Freeze-dried black raspberry has a positive effect against Barrett’s Esophagus, showing to slow the progress of BE and protect the individual against GERD (Kresty, L.A., et al., 2016).
HELPS FIGHT CANCER CELLS AND TUMORS
Black Raspberries contain an extremely dark pigment which allows them to be used as a colorant and gives black raspberries one of the highest antioxidant ratings in common fruits and berries. Rich in ellagic acid, anthocyanins, and antioxidants, black raspberries have been called the “king of berries” for their superior health benefits.
Studies at Ohio State University have found significant decreases in colon tumors in rats and esophageal tumors in mice fed a diet with black raspberries. In vitro studies have shown that extracts of raspberries and blackberries may slow the growth of breast cervical, colon, and esophageal cancers. Human clinical trials are underway to assess the effects of black raspberries on colon and esophageal cancers in humans.
The king of berries in terms of health benefits.Has an extremely high overall level of
phenolic compounds compared to other berries.
Phenolic compounds such as ellagic acid, gallic acid, and rutin contribute to the health benefits of black raspberries.
Contains high levels of anthocyanins, which give them their rich, dark color. Anthocyanins work as antioxidants that help fight free radical damage in the body.
Antioxidant levels of food are sometimes measured as ORAC (Oxygen Radical Absorption
Capacity). The ORAC level of black raspberries is 77 µmoles /TE/g, about three
times higher than blueberries, a very powerful antioxidant.
Black raspberries are rich in ellagic acid. Ellagic acid is a phenolic compound known to be a potent anti-carcinogen, anti-viral and anti-bacterial.
University studies are underway to determine black raspberries' ability to slow the growth of certain cancers. In vitro studies show that extracts of raspberries and blackberries may slow or reverse the growth of breast, cervical, colon, oral, and esophageal cancers.
Studies at Ohio State University showed a 60–80 % reduction in colon tumors in rats fed a
diet with black raspberries added.
Studies at Ohio State University showed an 80% reduction in esophageal cancers in mice fed
a 5-10% diet of black raspberries.
Scientists from Ohio State University are now conducting human clinical trials into the effects of black raspberries on colon and esophageal cancer in humans.
The use of black raspberries as a chemoprevention agent has gained interest, and six human trials have been completed to date to assess the efficacy of black raspberry formulations for cancer prevention (17). High concentrations of chemopreventive compounds such as the anthocyanins , ellagic acid, quercetin, and β-sitosterol have been identified in Black raspberries (14, 18). Black raspberries and their component Anthocyanins have the ability to inhibit cell proliferation, inflammation, and angiogenesis and to stimulate apoptosis, cell
The majority of Anthocyanins enter the colon where they are metabolized by colonic bacteria into smaller, and more bioavailable phenolic acids such as protocatechuic acid (PCA; refs. 31, 32). Protocatechuic acid is known to function as an antioxidant and an antidiabetic agent (33) (Source: Cancer Prevention Research Website).
In addition, it is effective as a chemopreventive against colon, bladder, and liver cancer in rodents (34–36) and has antiproliferative and proapoptotic capabilities (37, 38).
Black raspberries continue to generate a high level of interest from research scientists due to their potent antioxidant and anti-cancer properties.
In a study published in PubMed, extracts of six popularly consumed berriesblackberry, black raspberry, blueberry, cranberry, red raspberry and strawberry were evaluated for their phenolic constituents using high performance liquid chromatography with ultraviolet (HPLC-UV) and electrospray ionization mass spectrometry (LC-ESI-MS) detection.
The major classes of berry phenolics were anthocyanins, flavonols, flavanols, ellagitannins, gallotannins, proanthocyanidins, and phenolic acids. The berry extracts were evaluated for their ability to inhibit the growth of human oral (KB, CAL-27), breast (MCF-7), colon (HT-29, HCT116), and prostate (LNCaP) tumor cell lines at concentrations ranging from 25 to 200 μg/mL. With increasing concentration of berry extract, increasing inhibition of cell proliferation in all of the cell lines were observed, with different degrees of potency between
cell lines.
The berry extracts were also evaluated for their ability to stimulate apoptosis of the COX-2 expressing colon cancer cell line, HT-29. Black raspberry extracts showed the most significant pro-apoptotic effects
against this cell line.

BOOSTS FERTILITY
The relationship between Rain Soul and fertility
Raspberries may improve fertility in both men and women by boosting vitamin C and magnesium levels, specialists assert. It has also been theorized that the berries’ antioxidants protect sperm health, promote conception, and reduce the risk of miscarriage.
In a study conducted last year, researchers at the U.S. Department of Energy’s Lawrence Berkley National Laboratory found a strong correlation between high vitamin C intake and improved sperm DNA quality. An analysis of 80 male volunteers revealed that those who consumed the most vitamin C had 20 percent less sperm DNA damage than those who consumed the least. In older men, the nutrient appeared to “turn back the clock.”
“We found that men 44 and older who consumed at least the recommended dietary allowance of certain micronutrients had sperm with a similar amount of DNA damage as the sperm of younger men,” said study author Andy Wyrobek. “This means that men who are at increased risk of sperm DNA damage because of advancing age can do something about it.”
According to fertility nutritionist Juliet Wilson, women enjoy comparable health perks. Female fertility may benefit from raspberries’ high levels of folate – a type of B vitamin that promotes cell growth and embryo health. During pregnancy, sufficient levels help prevent birth defects of the baby’s brain and spine.
“Raspberries have not yet been given the 'superfood' recognition of other berries, but they have a comparable bounty of nutrients which shouldn't be ignored,” she said, speaking to The Daily Mail. “Together with their high vitamin C content - one portion of raspberries provides the same amount as 173 grapes - they are also a good source of folate, which is known to be essential in key stages of female fertility and early embryo development.”(Source; medicalDaily).
This shows that there is a strong relationship between Rain Soul and fertility. Yes, Rain Soul can help boost fertilty, and there are lots of testimonies to that.

D-RIBOSE
The only significant side effects were that 2 people felt too energized and hyper/anxious on the ribose. This is simply dealt with by lowering the dose and/or taking it with food. (source Dr T of EndFatigue Website)
AIDS RECOVERY FROM HEART FAILURE
Ribose supplements may be of some benefit to heart failure patients. In a 2015 study, Ohio State University researchers gave a small sample of congestive heart failure (CHF) patients 5 grams of D-ribose daily for six weeks. Measurements of heart function improved in 64 percent of subjects, and those improvements were sustained in follow-up assessments three weeks after ceasing supplementation.
LOWERS BLOOD SUGAR
D-ribose is a simple five-sided sugar. It supports the production of adenosine triphosphate (ATP)—energy—in your heart and skeletal muscles. That ATP energy helps your heart muscles to contract as
they should, pumping out blood that benefits every cell and system in your body.
A scientific review published in 2018 highlights pre-clinical and pilot clinical studies showing this sugar’s ability to enhance the recovery of ATP levels and also aid in improving left ventricular diastolic dysfunction following ischemia. Overall, D-ribose appears to improve myocardial energy levels and function for people with ischemic cardiovascular diseases.
May Help Manage Myoadenylate DeaminaseDeficiency Symptoms
Myoadenylate deaminase deficiency (MAD) is a metabolic muscle disease that interferes with the processing of ATP by musclecells. Symptoms of this condition can include cramps, muscle pain and exercise intolerance. However, having no symptoms is also possible. For people struggling with MAD, there is some evidence that taking D-ribose by mouth or receiving it intravenously from a health care professional may effectively prevent symptoms, such as cramping, pain and stiffness after exercise.
